Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon and Pangong Ice Ultra are the ultimate footraces on the frozen surface of the Third Pole. The 2025 event marks the first of its kind, combining ultra and rally races on the frozen Pangong Lake, where participants can either tackle a challenging 55 km solo or join a team to complete the race within 24 hours. Organized by ASFL, this extraordinary event builds on its Guinness World Record legacy as Asia’s first and the world’s highest frozen lake half marathon. On February 25th, 2025, athletes will have the chance to make history by competing in one of the world’s most extreme marathons, pushing through sub-zero temperatures at the Geographic Third Pole, and conquering one of the most remote and breathtaking places on the planet.
